Confluence Park Restaurant is looking for an experienced Banquet Manager to oversee events for over 10,000 square feet of meeting and convention space.  If you are a  high-energy leader with exceptional customer service, strong leadership skills, great organizational skills, P&L accountability and the ability to motivate staff then we would like to hear from you.

Job Requirements:
• Minimum (2) years Banquet Manager experience in a property of equal service levels and function space
• Excellent knowledge of understanding of Banquet Event Orders
• Ability to oversee the hiring of banquet servers, bartenders and housemen, conduct training and handling of scheduling
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Establish and maintain guest service standards that exceed guests’ expectations
• Manage and maintain banquet department
• Flexible availability required based on business demands

Catering Sales Director

Brief Job Description

The Catering Sales Director will oversee second catering sales associate as well as be responsible for the club’s catering sales plan achievement. The Director shall direct all aspects of the catering sales operation.  He/she will be a hands-on professional with strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent food, beverage, and wine knowledge, possessing a high level of energy and the ability to generate F&B sales. The operational support at the club is unmatched, with a 14 year Banquet Manager to oversee service, a 9 year Executive Chef, 8 year Banquet Chef to fulfill guest culinary desires. He/She will need to be driven and a proven sales professional. A major responsibility of the successful candidate will be marketing banquet events and includes development, planning of all events. The club averages 27 to 32 weddings a year, a history of wedding sales is a plus.  The successful candidate must be sales oriented and very comfortable promoting our facility to a wide range of senior executives throughout the community.

Candidate Qualifications

Must be a sales motivated professional. Experience with sales plan achievement. Must be well-organized, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be computer literate, and be committed to a team approach.  The successful candidate must be creative; this individual will be pro-active, anticipating member and guest needs, be experienced in budgeting and departmental financial controls, and have strong computer skills.  Prior experience in the Jonas POS system and experience in a private country club will be considered a distinct plus. Prior wedding planning experience is also considered a plus.

Educational Qualifications

College degree preferred but will consider other qualified candidates.  A degree in hotel/restaurant management will be considered a plus.  Must have 3-5 years’ prior, relevant experience.

Brief Job Description

The Controller will oversee an accounting staff of two with responsibilities for all accounting functions, financial reporting to the management team, GM and Board. Financial statement analysis, monitor cash flow, supervisory ability, applicable computer skills and accounting principles are important. Timeliness and accuracy are essential. Knowledge and prior experience in a related hospitality environment is preferred. The Controller shall oversee all accounting and human resource operations. Candidate Qualifications
